Rare Celebrates Its 35th Anniversary

Making games since 1985. The iconic UK-based developer Rare this week celebrates its 35th anniversary. For any Nintendo fan, arguably its best years were around the time of the N64 generation when it released one hit after another. We're talking Banjo-Kazooie, the legendary first-person shooters' GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark, the Mario Kart competitor, Diddy Kong Racing, and how could you forget the adults-only Conker's Bad Fur Day. To mark this special occasion, it's released a bunch of merch on its official online store (including 35% off everything until this Sunday), and special soundtracks - including a 35th Anniversary Collection, and a Snake Rattle 'N' Roll Vinyl soundtrack.
