In celebration of the annual and newly renamed The Last of Us Day, developer Naughty Dog is dropping information on what the studio has up its sleeve. This includes a free The Last of Us Part 2 PS4 theme.
Though the celebration officially kicks off on September 26, Naughty Dog has provided a preview of what's in store. Speaking of stores, players can get discounts on The Last of Us Remastered and its Left Behind DLC through the PlayStation Store on PlayStation 4. There's also a free The Last of Us Part 2 beach theme that players can download, along with all existing PSN avatars and themes based on the game. Furthermore, the PlayStation Gear store is holding a The Last of Us Day sale with up to 40% discounts on merch such as hats, mugs, and shirts. These sales run until September 28.
The studio revealed an in-development The Last of Us board game in partnership with Cmon, the team behind Bloodborne: The Board Game and God of War: The Card Game. A release date for The Last of Us: The Board Game has yet to be announced. There are also new figures and statues, a vinyl version of the original The Last of Us Part 2 soundtrack, and limited-edition posters for The Last of Us Day.Continue Reading at GameSpot
