Revamped PlayStation Store Starts Rolling Out With PS5 Game Preorders

Sony has delivered on its promise of overhauling the PlayStation Store ahead of the PlayStation 5's November 12 launch. The new store makes some changes, including removing support for older PlayStation software and enabling preorders of PlayStation 5 games. The new PlayStation Store isn't available in all regions yet. Earlier this month, Sony said the revamped store would roll out on October 19 for web users and October 28 on mobile. In addition to changing the layout, the new PlayStation Store discontinues support for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation Vita games and DLC add-ons. Users of these devices will no longer be able to purchase these titles from the PlayStation Store via desktop or mobile.
